Our story
In 2017, after long careers as finance professionals and business owners, the founders noticed a shift in expectations. Business owners were tired of accountants and business advisors who were out of touch with their needs. They no longer accept the traditional model of delivery, which is less responsive and less personalised.
From this, Good for Business was born.
We set out to rethink how accounting and business advisory firms operate. Business owners don’t want a “one size fits all” approach - they need customised solutions.
We set out to offer the best advice and support using the latest technology.
Today, Good for Business is a high-growth, innovative practice, empowering hundreds of business owners with the clarity and confidence they need to navigate these volatile times.
We’ve received many recognitions along the way. We are NZ Small Accounting Partner of the Year finalists for the Xero Awards in 2019 and 2020. We also achieved Xero Gold Partner Status in 2018.

Meet the team
Chun began his career at KPMG, a top-tier global accounting and consulting firm, after graduating from Auckland University with a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws.
Over the past 15 years, Chun has owned an investment and consulting company, running and investing in hospitality and services businesses.
He co-founded Good for Business, to help and empower business owners with clarity and confidence.
Chun advises and provides expertise in all aspects of accounting and finance focusing on the interface of business and technology, marketing, strategy, and human resources.
Currently, Chun drives the implementation of Salesforce as a practice-wide platform.
